By visiting, viewing, and/or contributing to Skyefairy.net (further in text: the site) in any way, shape, or form, you are agreeing to these terms of usage. They may be altered or updated at any time and any changes take effect immediately; it is your responsibility to check back and adhere to the current terms.

General

Design, source code, and all non-submitted content is copyrighted to Skye (Heather Ward; further in text: the owner). Submitted content is copyrighted to its creators, as credited. It is prohibited to copy, redistribute, or make derivative works of any protected materials on the site, except for the purposes of fair use as defined by copyright law and as described below. It is prohibited to direct link any and all images from the site.

All submitted content is copyrighted to its creators, as credited; as such, the views within are those of their creators and not that of the site or the owner.

All content on the site is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. The owner assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any damages, viruses, or anything else that may infect your computer equipment or other property on account of your use of the site.

Submitted content is assumed by the owner to be the work of the submitter. Periodic checks will be done to ensure ownership of submissions. If reported, stolen (or allegedly stolen) material will be removed pending investigation. If the owner discovers content from the site displayed on other sites, action will be taken. However, the owner assumes no responsibility if works are stolen or copied.

Accounts

By registering for an account, the user agrees that they are at least 13 years old or have parental consent to use this site. The user understands that their account may be removed at the discretion of the owner for any reason. Each individual is only allowed to create one (1) account. Multiple accounts, spamming anywhere public posting is allowed, flaming, or malicious behavior is subject to permanent termination at the discretion of the owner.

Creative Arts & Tutorials

Poems, stories, articles, art, photography, digital art, tutorials, and any other works (further in text: creative works) displayed on the site are copyrighted to their creators. All rights are reserved and it is prohibited to copy, redistribute, or make derivative works of any material unless permission is granted by its creator.

Designs & Avatars

Web designs/layouts (further in text: design works), and Avatars/icons (further in text: avatars), displayed on the site are copyrighted to their creators.

Design Works may be used without permission as long as the conditions below are adhered to. If further conditions are given within the design work, they must be adhered to as well. If any are broken, all rights to the design works are forfeited and usage is not permitted unless the creator releases rights within the design work.
  1. Attribution is given. All credits on design works must remain intact. You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the creator (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).
  2. Coding may be altered to conform to your site, blogging script, etc. under the condition that it does not significantly alter the design work itself. Design work images may be altered to add your site's name as long as it does not significantly alter the design work itself.
  3. No derivative works are allowed. Coding may be used to learn from but may not be taken or copied.
  4. You may not use design works for commercial purposes.
Avatars may be used without permission as long as the conditions below are adhered to.
  1. Attribution is given. On websites, a link must be present as close to the avatar as possible, linking to the artist profile of the creator. On forums, a link must be present in your signature, linking to the artist profile of the creator.
  2. No derivative works are allowed.
  3. You may not use avatars for commercial purposes.
