About Skyefairy.net

After six years of being on the web Skyefairy.net has become my largest project, a long-term hobby, and a major learning experience.

The site started out in late 2002 with just the poetry category. Likewise, poetry has always been the largest section but I gradually started to add more. The site now contains a wide variety of artforms including writing (poems, stories, articles), traditional art (art and photography), digital art, and web design (designs, avatars, tutorials) by a large selection of artists.

While Skyefairy.net is the main domain, I also own Skyefairy.com and Skyefairy.org, both of which point to this site.

SF has gone through many incarnations over the years, ranging from my first self–made layout in January 2004 featuring Amy Lee to what you see today. I tend to revamp and improve the site often because I love the site and always want to keep learning and growing.

In December 2008 I added the login system which is still growing and expanding to add more features. My plans in the future include:

• Adding a forum to the site. It will be self-coded and ingrained into the current infrastructure.
• Blogging. It will be connected the the user profiles.
• Hosting Panel. I already offer hosting, but I plan to create a panel that will allow for more ease and control.
