I marveled at the way
your hair glowed in the light
This is a collaboration layout by
Skye and
Angel. This was truly a unique experience for both of us. Since each of us have completely different styles, we had no idea how it would turn out but both of us were shocked and completely satisfied with the outcome. A fusion of Skye's soft and delicate style with Angel's funky and trendy style? Yup! We both agreed that it turned out to be something truly amazing and that it was a very good equal mix of both of our styles. Looking close, you can see each person in the layout and the two mix rather than take over the other.
I love the way
your hand fits so nicely in mine
It was kind of interesting how both of our styles, being so different, fit so nicely together. Here is part of our coversation on the subject (in IM)...

- Angel said
- i'm mighty proud of it too
- i half-made something soft
- lol
- i like that "look what i half-made!"
- Skye said
- lol
- i can't believe i half made that
- Angel said
- yeah i'm pretty proud of where i placed stuff
- haha
- her images were easy to work with
- being that pretty and all
- Skye said
- *nods* we were lucky we found that good of pictures
- Angel said
- that's what a collab should be though
- adding two styles together
- i don't see anyone's style overpowering the other
- Skye said
- *nods*
- and its cool how it came out.
- Angel said
- i also learned from it
- which was a surprise
- Skye said
- lol. i did too. when you sent me the base (which you thought was nothin) i was like O_O
- lol
- Angel said
- haha
- no, but your borders?
- wow
- lol
- all the effects you put in
- all the modes you used
- just for a border, but it turned out beautifully
- i usually just slap on some lines
- Skye said
- i did/do? huh?
- thanks but huh? lol
- Angel said
- your bordering. you use a lot of blend modes and such that i didn't notice
- and the strip behind the title
- that was so well done.
- i would have just put one bar and call it a day
- Skye said
- oh ok. o_o i just put bars and gradients and click on the thing and scroll it til a good blend mode comes up that looks good
- its amazing how much your faded paint brush things and your little diagonal lines will do
- i was shocked
- Angel said
- haha
- yes. nobody ever notices the little stuff, but without it, it's not the same layout
- you can BARELY see them, but when you take them away, you definately know
- it was like walking half a mile in your shoes :P
- Skye said
- *nods* lol
- and in yours :-D
- you really are a great designer
- Angel said
- aww thank you
- as are you
- i'd always known that
- this just hammers the nail in a little further
- Skye said
- id known you were too :)
- lol
